Online Orientation and Discussion Session: 08-11 February 2021

The first online orientation and discussion session on accreditation evaluation by Program Evaluators was conducted by BAETE Resource Persons based on 09 modules during 08-11 February 2021. 78 participants, including Program Evaluators, Board Members, Sectoral Committee Members, Members of the Quality Assurance Cell and Members of Taskforces attended this online training.

A total of nine modules were covered in this workshop, which are listed below:

Module 1 : BAETE accreditation policy
Module 2 : BAETE accreditation procedure
Module 3 : Quality, professionalism and decorum of Evaluation Team
Module 4 : BAETE accreditation criteria (Module 4a: Criteria 1-5 and Module 4b: Criteria 6-10)
Module 5 : Reading, interpreting and analyzing SARs
Module 6 : Planning onsite visit, triangulation and evaluation
Module 7 : Evaluating attainment of program outcomes
Module 8 : Writing Evaluation Team Report
Module 9 : Interim Accreditation Evaluation Guidelines of BAETE during COVID-19 Pandemic

Modules 1 to 8 were developed by a six-member Taskforce, while the Taskforce of BAETE for Manual preparation designed the Module 9. Duration of the modules varied from 90 to 120 minutes.
