Prof. Dr. Engr. Dipak Kanti Das

Dipak Kanti Das is a professor of Mechanical Engineering at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST). He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from BUET (erstwhile EPUET) in December 1968, and joined as a lecturer in the Mechanical Engineering department (BUET) In January 1969. He obtained a Ph.D. in 1980 from Liverpool University, England. He was appointed as a professor of Mechanical Engineering at BUET in September 1983, from which he retired in 2011. He also served as the Dr. Rashid Chair Professor in 2013. Professor Das has published 39 research articles in national and international journals and proceedings.
